THE SHED GONE FIELD GUIDE
Removal planning for managed properties
For property managers, start with permission to remove the structure, tenant belongings and the intended condition of the cleared area. Identify occupied units, access restrictions and any need to keep a path open during the work.

Separate the building from its contents
A vacant-property shed may contain tenant possessions or maintenance supplies. Establish permission and an inventory before authorising clearance. Mark any equipment that belongs to the grounds team and must stay on the property.
Specify the next use of the plot
Tell the estimator whether another shed will occupy the base or the land will become open space. Slab removal, access protection and reinstatement should be considered against that intended finish.
