SHED REMOVAL IN HENDERSON

We take it down.
We haul it away.

How it works ↗

Shed removal is all we do. Wood, metal or resin, falling apart or still standing, we take your Henderson shed apart and leave the space clean.

  • Taking the shed apart: roof, walls, doors and floor
  • The stuff inside, if you want it gone too
  • Loading, haul-away and disposal, with metal and clean wood recycled where it’s accepted
  • The slab, gravel pad or footings, if you want them out
  • Sweeping and raking the spot clean

We check what Henderson requires for your shed before any work starts, and any power to the shed must be disconnected by a licensed electrician before removal day. The local rules are below.

01

Send a photo.

Show us the shed and the way out, and add your Henderson ZIP code. No payment, and it isn’t a booking.

02

Get our price.

We look at your photos and send our price, what it includes and the dates we have.

03

We haul it away.

We confirm a date, take the shed down, load every piece and leave the spot clean.

PERMITS & DIY DISPOSAL

Doing it yourself, or just checking the rules?

Here’s what Henderson asks for before a shed comes down, what city pickup will take, and where you can drop off the debris yourself.

Henderson rules at a glance

Demolition permit

Not confirmed, but likely yes. Henderson requires a demolition permit unless the code exempts the work, and its 200 sq ft shed exemption covers building permits only. The fee is $423.

City pickup

Not confirmed. Republic's every-other-week bulk pickup takes curbside items up to 6 feet with no protruding nails, but city code describes bulky items as household items like appliances. Ask Republic, 702-735-5151.

Haul it yourself

Henderson Transfer Station (Republic Services). Not published. Free for current Republic residential customers with ID and a matching bill under local code; commercial haulers always pay.

What it costs

Shed Gone: a price from your photos, with teardown, haul-away and cleanup included.

Others here: Above & Beyond lists $250 to $400+ for a small resin shed and $550 to $850+ for a medium wood or metal one. LoadUp shows $94 to $1,559. Others quote each job.

Do I need a permit?Henderson demolition rules, utilities and property checks.

The requirements depend on the structure, the work and the property’s jurisdiction. These are the official starting points for checking your job. Confirm with the building office before teardown day. How shed demolition permits work ↗

01

Henderson's demolition permit

City code says no structure may be removed or demolished until the needed building, demolition or other permit is issued, unless the code exempts the work. The only shed exemption, for one-story storage sheds up to 200 sq ft, is in the building permit list, and no demolition exemption was found. The Development Services fee schedule lists Demolition at $423 each. Ask Permitting at 702-267-3620 whether your shed needs one.

03

Asbestos paperwork goes to the county

Air quality is handled countywide by Clark County's Division of Air Quality. Its Demolition Notification Form must arrive 10 working days before a building or structure is demolished, but its handouts are written for commercial, rental and condo property. Whether a backyard shed at a house needs one isn't stated; call 702-455-5942 about old cement-board siding or roofing.

Can I dispose of it myself?City pickup rules, drop-off options and fees for shed debris.

Will Henderson pick up shed debris?

Not confirmed. Henderson trash service is a Republic Services franchise, and the monthly rate includes bulky item collection every other week on your trash day. Republic's flyer says items must be at the curb, 6 feet or shorter, contained, with no protruding nails or screws in wood. City code defines a bulky item as a large household item, such as an appliance, carpet or mattress, that a two-person crew can handle. Shed lumber and roofing aren't named either way. Call Republic at 702-735-5151 before you set a cut-up shed at the curb.

Drop-off and recycling options

If you’d rather haul it yourself, sort the load first: clean wood, metal, roofing, concrete and household contents often go to different places or cost different amounts. Call ahead before hiring a trailer. What can be recycled ↗

Henderson Transfer Station (Republic Services)

560 Cape Horn Dr., Henderson, NV 89011

Republic Services transfer station listed among Republic's Southern Nevada regional facilities. Republic does not publish its accepted-materials list online; it says to call for current rates and what is acceptable. It takes household electronics and kitchen appliances at no charge, and refrigerators for a charge. Local codes let current Republic residential customers drop off waste from their own home without charge with photo ID and a matching bill.

Fees: Not published. Free for current Republic residential customers with ID and a matching bill under local code; commercial haulers always pay.

Before you go: Open Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 702-599-5768 for rates and to confirm it takes lumber, roofing and other shed debris.

Nevada Recycling (Sunset Road yard)

655 W. Sunset Rd, Henderson, NV 89011

Fees: Scrap prices not published. It lists a $25 disposal fee per refrigerator.

Before you go: Open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; closed Sunday. The scale closes at 4 p.m. on weekdays. Call (702) 856-0866.

Apex Regional Landfill (Republic Services)

13550 North US Highway 93, Las Vegas, NV 89165

Republic Services' regional landfill for Southern Nevada. Republic lists it as a regional facility but does not publish an accepted-materials list online; it says to call for the list of acceptable and unacceptable materials.

Fees: Not published. Republic says to call for current rates. City code in Republic's franchise cities lets current residential customers dispose of waste from their own home free at franchisee sites with a current bill and matching photo ID; ask the scale house whether that applies here.

Before you go: Open Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 702-599-5920 before you load, to confirm rates and that lumber, shingles and concrete are accepted.

What else should I know in Henderson?Local notes, and the photos that set the price.

Only the franchised hauler or a licensed contractor may haul demolition debris

Henderson's code makes it unlawful for anyone but the city, its franchisee (Republic Services) or their agents to collect or haul solid waste. The one opening for demolition debris is a duly licensed construction cleanup or demolition contractor, who may take it to a transfer station, landfill or recovery facility. Homeowners may haul their own waste. The code doesn't name junk haulers that hold no contractor's license.

Republic customers can drop off their own waste for free

A Henderson single-family resident who is a current Republic customer can dispose of waste from their own home without charge at the franchisee's disposal site in the city. Bring photo ID with an address matching the trash bill, or ID plus a matching water bill. A paid hauler can't use this, even if you ride along.

Photos that explain the job.

  • The whole shed, with the roof, doors and rough dimensions
  • What it sits on: slab, gravel, pavers, skids or blocks
  • The route out: gates, steps, slopes and the narrowest gap
  • Anything stored inside, and any wiring, lights or a water line

Tell us whether the shed has power. A licensed electrician should disconnect and make the circuit safe before teardown. Say which items stay, and whether the slab or footings go too.

Shed Gone

Priced from your photos

A small empty resin shed and a large timber shed on a concrete slab are different jobs, so we don’t publish one number. The price depends on the shed’s size and material, what’s inside, what it sits on, and the route from the shed to the truck.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few more answers.

How much does shed removal cost in Henderson?

Shed Gone prices each shed from your photos, with teardown, haul-away and cleanup included. Above & Beyond publishes $250 to $400+ for small resin sheds, $550 to $850+ for medium wood or metal sheds and $950 to $1,450+ for large wood sheds, with labor and disposal included. LoadUp's Henderson page shows $94 to $1,559.

Who pulls the permit, me or the crew?

Henderson issues permits only to contractors with a Nevada contractor's license and a Henderson business license, or to a homeowner who qualifies as an owner-builder and lives in the house. Ask any company you hire whether it pulls the demolition permit.

Is a small plastic shed exempt?

For putting one up, yes, if it is one story and 200 sq ft or less. That exemption is written for building permits, and Henderson's code doesn't say the same for tearing one down.

Where can I take a load myself?

Republic's Henderson Transfer Station on Cape Horn Drive is open every day, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Apex Regional Landfill is north of Las Vegas on US 93, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Neither publishes rates; call 702-599-5768 or 702-599-5920 first.

What about the slab and anchors?

Say so when you ask for a quote. Above & Beyond handles anchor removal on prefab sheds and quotes slab removal separately by thickness and size. LoadUp says its price depends on size, condition and type, and is lower for a shed that's already taken apart.
