OLD SHEDSPACE RECLAIMEDSHED REMOVAL IN FISHERS
Shed removal is all we do. Wood, metal or resin, falling apart or still standing, we take your Fishers shed apart and leave the space clean.
We check what Fishers requires for your shed before any work starts, and any power to the shed must be disconnected by a licensed electrician before removal day. The local rules are below.

PERMITS & DIY DISPOSAL
Here’s what Fishers asks for before a shed comes down, what city pickup will take, and where you can drop off the debris yourself.
Yes, as written. City code requires a permit before demolishing any building or structure, with no shed exception. The residential demolition fee is $225. Ask Planning & Zoning, 317-595-3155, about small sheds.

No. Republic's $25 bulk pickup refuses lumber, building and remodeling materials and construction materials, so a torn-down shed can't go out for collection.

South Side Landfill. Charged by volume: C&D and drywall $25.50 per cubic yard, shingles $28.00, clean fill $13.00, open-top solid waste $25.50. Pickup and SUV loads are priced by the attendant. A fuel surcharge and a $0.60-per-ton state fee are added. Mixed loads pay the rate for the most restrictive material.

The requirements depend on the structure, the work and the property’s jurisdiction. These are the official starting points for checking your job. Confirm with the building office before teardown day. How shed demolition permits work ↗
Fishers' building code says a permit must be obtained before beginning construction, alteration, repair or demolition of any building or structure. The code lists no size exemption for demolition. The City fee schedule sets a residential demolition permit at $225, with a 3% charge added for card payments. If you think a small shed may not need one, ask Planning & Zoning at 317-595-3155 before work starts.
Fishers Code of Ordinances, § 154.15: Permit required ↗Fishers Code of Ordinances, § 35.30: Fee schedule ↗City of Fishers: Planning & Zoning ↗
If the shed has power, the City fee schedule lists electrical permits at $75 for residential work. Ask Planning & Zoning whether cutting and capping a shed circuit needs one.

IDEM requires an asbestos inspection before demolition, except for residential buildings with four or fewer homes. Homeowners don't follow the notification and work practice rules, but any waste with regulated asbestos must still be disposed of properly. Old cement-board siding or roofing is the usual suspect on a shed.
No. For large items, you call Republic Services at 317-917-7300 and pay $25 per item for a bulk pickup, with 48 hours' notice. Republic's collection rules list lumber, building and remodeling materials and construction materials as unacceptable, and items must be light enough to lift into the truck. Everything set out each week must fit in the carts with the lids closed. For a shed, hire a removal company or haul the debris yourself.

If you’d rather haul it yourself, sort the load first: clean wood, metal, roofing, concrete and household contents often go to different places or cost different amounts. Call ahead before hiring a trailer. What can be recycled ↗

Fishers has used one citywide contract with Republic Services for residential trash since January 2025. While that contract is in place, City code says no other company may provide residential trash or recycling collection in Fishers. The code's license and contract rules cover route collection on a set schedule. They do not apply to people hauling trash or debris on a one-time, unscheduled basis, which is how a shed teardown and haul-away works. The code doesn't mention demolition debris by name.

Hamilton County's drop-off in Noblesville refuses building materials such as shingles, siding, boards and concrete, and all lumber, treated or not. The county sends those to a transfer station. It also sends scrap metal to Ace Scrap Metal in Cicero.

In Fishers, the Department of Planning & Zoning handles permitting and inspections, and applications go through the City's online permit portal. For a question about a permit on your property, call 317-595-3155.
Tell us whether the shed has power. A licensed electrician should disconnect and make the circuit safe before teardown. Say which items stay, and whether the slab or footings go too.
