The requirements depend on the structure, the work and the property’s jurisdiction. These are the official starting points for checking your job. Confirm with the building office before teardown day. How shed demolition permits work ↗
Moore Code §5-111 says a building permit must be obtained whenever any building or structure is erected, altered, moved or removed. The fee schedule (§5-115) sets all demolition permits at a flat $35, plus the state building code fee. If work starts first, §5-136 adds an investigation fee equal to the permit fee. Moore amended the residential code's permit exemptions so that only one-story detached playhouses and similar uses with no utility connections are exempt. Tool and storage sheds are no longer named, so the small-shed building-permit exemption used in many cities does not apply here.

Moore Code §17-203 says the City furnishes garbage and trash hauling, and no one else may carry garbage, refuse, rubbish or waste over City streets without proper authorization as may be required by law. §17-207 lets customers hire private haulers only for nonresidential refuse, with the city manager's approval and an insurance certificate on file with the City Clerk. Neither section says how this applies to a removal crew hauling shed teardown debris; no franchise C&D hauler was found.
