SHED REMOVAL IN LEVITTOWN

We take it down.
We haul it away.

How it works ↗

Shed removal is all we do. Wood, metal or resin, falling apart or still standing, we take your Levittown shed apart and leave the space clean.

  • Taking the shed apart: roof, walls, doors and floor
  • The stuff inside, if you want it gone too
  • Loading, haul-away and disposal, with metal and clean wood recycled where it’s accepted
  • The slab, gravel pad or footings, if you want them out
  • Sweeping and raking the spot clean

We check what Levittown requires for your shed before any work starts, and any power to the shed must be disconnected by a licensed electrician before removal day. The local rules are below.

01

Send a photo.

Show us the shed and the way out, and add your Levittown ZIP code. No payment, and it isn’t a booking.

02

Get our price.

We look at your photos and send our price, what it includes and the dates we have.

03

We haul it away.

We confirm a date, take the shed down, load every piece and leave the spot clean.

PERMITS & DIY DISPOSAL

Doing it yourself, or just checking the rules?

Here’s what Levittown asks for before a shed comes down, what city pickup will take, and where you can drop off the debris yourself.

Levittown rules at a glance

Demolition permit

Yes. Bristol and Middletown Townships both list demolitions among work that needs a building permit. Bristol charges $100 for a residential demolition permit; Middletown starts at $75.

City pickup

Not confirmed: WM's bulk pickup takes one item a month in Bristol Township and two in Middletown, and lists furniture and appliances, not building debris. Ask WM first.

Haul it yourself

Revolution Recovery (Philadelphia Recycling Center). Not published. Card payments are accepted for drop-offs; call for pricing.

What it costs

Shed Gone: a price from your photos, with teardown, haul-away and cleanup included.

Others here: LoadUp shows $94 to $1,559 for a shed in Bucks County. College HUNKS lists $99 to $699 junk loads, and Junk Rescue, Shed Repair LLC and others quote each job.

Do I need a permit?Levittown demolition rules, utilities and property checks.

The requirements depend on the structure, the work and the property’s jurisdiction. These are the official starting points for checking your job. Confirm with the building office before teardown day. How shed demolition permits work ↗

02

Middletown Township: demolition permit, fees doubled if you start early

Middletown lists demolitions among projects that typically need a building permit. Its 2026 fee schedule shows residential demolition at $50 per 100 sq ft with a $75 minimum, plus a $30 application fee and a $4.50 state UCC fee. Work started before the permit is issued pays double fees. Call Building & Zoning at (215) 750-3800 x1112.

03

Asbestos: state rules for a home shed

Outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania DEP handles asbestos notifications. DEP says it and the EPA don't regulate asbestos removal from single-family homes or buildings with four or fewer units unless they are part of an installation. State Labor & Industry rules still require five days' notice when someone other than the homeowner removes more than 3 sq ft of friable asbestos indoors. Bucks County says asbestos should be removed by a licensed contractor.

Can I dispose of it myself?City pickup rules, drop-off options and fees for shed debris.

Will Levittown trash pickup take shed debris?

Probably not a whole shed. Both Bristol and Middletown Townships contract with WM. Bristol allows one bulk item a month, such as a mattress, washer or desk. Middletown allows two bulk items in the third full week of each month, and extra items must be scheduled with WM for a fee. Neither page lists building or demolition debris as bulk, so ask WM before putting shed pieces at the curb.

Drop-off and recycling options

What else should I know in Levittown?Local notes, and the photos that set the price.

Levittown's rules come from your township

Levittown has no local government of its own. It spreads across Bristol Township, Middletown Township, Falls Township and Tullytown Borough; Falls says parts of Levittown lie inside it, and Middletown gives instructions for its Levittown residents. Permits, trash pickup and hauler rules all depend on which one your address is in. This page covers Bristol and Middletown, where most of Levittown sits.

Only state-authorized, township-registered haulers in Bristol Township

Bristol Township's code bars anyone from collecting or removing municipal waste in the township without written Pennsylvania DEP authorization under Act 90, a copy of which goes to the township with a hauler registration form. Waste must go only to facilities the township designates, and the township or its contractor collects all municipal waste from homes. Homeowners hauling their own household waste are exempt. The code doesn't say whether shed debris from a removal company counts.

Middletown gives home trash to its contract hauler

Middletown Township's code says all residential solid waste is collected by the authorized collector under township contract, and that collection is done only by the company awarded that contract (currently WM). All collectors must take waste only to facilities designated in the Bucks County Municipal Waste Management Plan. Whether this covers shed debris hauled by a removal company is not stated.

Falls and Tullytown residents get a free bulk drop-off day

Falls Township and Tullytown Borough homeowners can drop bulky waste and yard waste for free at the GROWS Landfill, 1000 New Ford Mill Road, on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 7 to 11 a.m. Proof of residency is required, and it is not for contractors. Falls' code also requires haulers to take waste only to township-designated facilities.

Photos that explain the job.

  • The whole shed, with the roof, doors and rough dimensions
  • What it sits on: slab, gravel, pavers, skids or blocks
  • The route out: gates, steps, slopes and the narrowest gap
  • Anything stored inside, and any wiring, lights or a water line

Tell us whether the shed has power. A licensed electrician should disconnect and make the circuit safe before teardown. Say which items stay, and whether the slab or footings go too.

A small empty resin shed and a large timber shed on a concrete slab are different jobs, so we don’t publish one number. The price depends on the shed’s size and material, what’s inside, what it sits on, and the route from the shed to the truck.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few more answers.

How much does shed removal cost in Levittown?

Shed Gone prices each shed from your photos, with teardown, haul-away and cleanup included. Among other companies, LoadUp shows $94 to $1,559 for a shed in Bucks County, less if it's already taken apart. College HUNKS lists $99 to $699 for junk loads.

Where can I take shed debris myself?

Revolution Recovery's center at 7333 Milnor St. in Northeast Philadelphia takes wood, metal, drywall and rubble you bring in your own vehicle. In central Bucks, Doylestown Waste Recycling at 1510 Swamp Rd. recycles construction debris such as drywall, shingles and metal. Neither posts prices online.

Can I sell a metal shed for scrap?

Possibly. EMR's yard at 2704 Veterans Highway in Bristol buys ferrous metal, sheet aluminum and aluminum siding by weight and grade. It's open weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon; bring ID.

Can I put a new shed where the old one stood in Middletown?

Check the size and setbacks first. Middletown limits a shed to 3% of the lot, up to 500 sq ft, and 14 feet tall, set at least 3 feet from the property line and 10 feet behind the back of the house. Levittown residents also send a plot plan to the Lower Bucks Joint Water and Sewer Authority.

What do I do with paint and chemicals from the shed?

Take them to a Bucks County household hazardous waste event; there's no year-round drop-off in the county. Events are open to residents of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties and Philadelphia. Latex paint can be dried out and put in the trash.

Can the shed be moved out in one piece?

Sometimes. Shed Repair LLC says it serves Bucks County and can either demolish a shed piece by piece or lift the whole thing out with its Mule shed moving machine.
